My order of Lord 7545A/E adhesive had previously arrived and I bonded the overhead console to the cabin top today.
I hacked together an adapter for a large caulking gun to avoid needing to buy a specialized tool (made from some scrap PVC pipe and some 3d printed parts).
The forward console flange will be overlapped with fiberglass then feathered and painted.
The aft flange will be left as-is and will be covered by the headliner.
