While the upper forward fuselage was removed, I proceeded to install firewall passthrus for the throttle and prop cables. I won’t need a mixture control cable with the SDS EFI so I have one less hole to make than the plans call for.
I 3d printed a template to cleco into the punched holes in the firewall recess. This layout allowed me to cover two of the holes with one eyeball pass thru and the third hole with the other.
I match drilled the 12 screw holes using the template.
I then marked the center holes and drilled initial holes with a step drill.
I finished the holes to final size with a punch.
Success. One more small task crossed off the list.
