My fuselage kit arrived today. The crate shipped well and doesn’t appear to have any damage.
I’ll open it soon to inspect the contents but I’m going to force myself to finish the tailcone riveting first.
I have about 50 rivets remaining on the aft top skin before all riveting on the tailcone section is complete.
The timing worked out well and will allow me to defer the empennage attach section of the plans until later.
I would love to rig everything up and attach the tail feathers, but it should be more efficient to do that later and avoid the extra assembly/disassembly cycle.
