I continued with prepping tailcone parts for priming.
I deburred and countersunk the rudder stop brace…
I deburred and countersunk the tie down bar…
I deburred and dimpled the elevator access covers…
I scuffed the attachment surface for the static ports.
I deburred and dimpled the nut plate holes for the elevator cover plates…
I was originally going to completely remove all of the vinyl but it offers quite a bit of protection for the inevitable bumps and scrapes during assembly.
I plan on back-riveting as much as possible so this will also provide some protection while moving things around on the back rivet plate.
More deburring later..
