We did some traveling over spring break and got back to work on the plane today. We’re still on page 10-16 but we’re slowly getting closer to priming. Amber has helped me deburr which has sped up the process significantly.
All of the bulkheads/frames and other smaller parts have been deburred and dimpled and are ready for etching and priming.
Amber completed all of the deburring of the holes in the stiffeners while I worked on final edge deburring and dimpling. I also rounded off the sharp ends from the initial j-channel trimming.
Lots of holes.. lots of dimples.. and soon to be lots of rivets.
Next up: dimpling the skins and countersinking the longerons.
