I spent several hours today finalizing all of the rudder parts to get them ready for riveting. The work I had left to do included deburring the holes in the skin, dimpling the skins, flanges, stiffeners, and ribs, countersinking the holes in the trailing edge, and final deburring of everything.
I then washed, etched, and dried the parts to get them ready to prime. I’m very pleased with the 3M Accuspray system – very simple to set up and quick to clean up when finished.
