I made two jack stands to raise the airplane for the installation of the gear leg fairings. I plan to use these jacks for future maintenance.
I purchased two 3-ton long ram flat-bottom hydraulic jacks from Harbor Freight. I made 3/4″ plywood bases and attached shelving supports to form a tripod support structure. I used hose clamps to secure the shelving supports to the jacks. I used friction tape under the hose clamps to keep them from sliding.
I drilled a hole in the bottom flange of each jack to keep them from sliding on the base.

I then made two support pads from some scrap lumber and angle iron.

Edit: The jacks worked great for lifting the airplane at the spar carry-through area. They were very stable and sturdy while I worked on the gear legs and fairings.
