I completed the first skin bend this evening. This turned out be much more challenging than I had anticipated.
I started out by making the bending board and bending angles.

The bending took a solid effort. A really solid effort. With two of us.

The first test fit came up a little lacking in the final stage of the bend (along the edge of the skin). The tight bend at the forward edge also wasn’t tight enough.
After a bit more grunting we finally got the bend to fit nicely.

Three more to go but one is enough for tonight.
